Steeped in a rich history, there are corners of Flagler County where it seems that time is forgotten. Slow moving creeks shaded in a canopy of trees, salt marshes harboring birds and sea life and beaches where you can still find solitude, all preserved in county parks.

Tucked between St. Augustine and Daytona Beach, Flagler County was passed by in the rush to develop Florida. For most of the people who live here, the county is a haven from the pressures of the world. Graced with three state parks and voters willing to support the purchase of parklands, the county is in the process of preserving a glimpse of Florida many other counties have lost.

Whether it’s finding quiet solace within the nature preserves, re-energizing while participating in a favorite leisure activity, or enjoying the company of family and friends, Flagler County offers unsurpassed recreational opportunities for citizens and visitors alike.

All Flagler County Parks and Recreation facilities offer free admission and are maintained by Flagler County’s Parks and Recreation staff.
